Design

Design philosophy

We have revolutionized the concept of mobility by making motorcycle transport safe and reliable, but also striking in visual appeal. Anchored on safety and reliability the Kibo K250 is designed and built to withstand extreme terrain, with additional versatility and strength to comfortably carry heavy payload.

Reflecting the needs and wishes of the diverse African motorcycle market, we have developed a bike that meets the latest design standards, offers more performance and exciting riding experience, the K250 will further enhance our vision in providing unique mobility solutions.

Features

Suspension

Progressive suspension that is rear adjustable. It is designed with 215/140mm front and rear travel to offer a stable and comfortable riding experience on rugged terrain or smooth tarmac.

Performance

Engine

250cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, with an external oil cooler for enhanced engine temperature regulation. It incorporates a balance shaft that significantly diminishes engine vibration, resulting in a smoother ride.

Ground clearance

A ground clearance of 200mm and reinforced sump-guard protect the underside from potential damage from rocks and rough roads.

Brakes

The Kibo K250 features a 260mm front disc and 220mm rear disc hydraulic brake system, specifically developed to ensure Kibo’s high load capability, backed by outstanding braking power.

Lights

Two impact-resistant lenses, housed in a strong metal case, form the vertically stacked twin headlights. Either headlight functions as a backup, which ensures that the rider is visible at all times. The K250 is equipped with LED rear lights and side indicators as standard.

Display

A digital display that shows you everything you need to know in one quick glance – low fuel alert, fuel light indicator, engine temperature indicator, low battery indicator, speed, engine overheating alert and proper mileage records.

Safety & Training

Safety

The Kibo K250 is designed to ensure that both the bike and rider can safely tackle the demands of everyday use. We also provide rider training as well as ISO, EU and ECE certified accessories to ensure the rider, passenger and cargo are always protected.

Training

We have partnered with specialist rider-training academies to ensure that you can safely enjoy the K250 bike and prepare you for any eventualities once you hit the road. This training includes courses on braking techniques, collision avoidance and much more.

Accessories

We stock a variety of accessories designed to complement the K250 experience. All our accessories adhere to ECE and ISO standards ensuring the highest standards in safety, whilst still being beautifully styled.
